Mesagne — Brindisi

The Farm

Fratelli Campana S.S. Agricola is based in Mesagne, province of Brindisi, in the heart of the Salento peninsula and the famous land of Otranto. The estate is dominated by the old "Li Tiermiti" farmhouse, built here in the 16th century; its name comes from the Latin termes, "cut olive branch", a reminder of an ancient tradition.

Today the farmhouse is known as "Epifani", after the Mesagne physician and writer Epifanio Ferdinando, who owned the whole district. Over the centuries many sharecroppers worked this land; the Campana family arrived in the early 1900s and has passed on its care for the fields across four generations.

Since 2000 the farm has been led by the three Campana brothers — Giuseppe, Giovanni and Alessandro — who reorganised production, processing, quality control and the image of the products.
